Demonstrations

Edge computing device data management requires the right database to process, manage and distribute data originating from sensors. Embedded systems and connected devices on the Internet of Things require real-time data management and processing. Selecting the right embedded database is a challenge. Ease of development, deployment and maintenance are critical for reliability, scalability, and long-term success. Our goal by providing access to reference demonstration architectures is to assist developers to accelerate development time. Demonstration source code is supported by documentation and provide tips to build, extend, and embed data management applications for edge devices across various markets.

Smart IoT Energy Demonstration

Edge Device Manages Energy Efficiency and Saves Cost

With this demonstration, we periodically collect energy data and use it for three main purposes: reporting, monitoring, and distributing energy information. Trend analysis and tracking energy consumption identifies cost-saving opportunities. Real-time responses and dialogue with other deployed devices distribute energy information to devices that manage the grid.

Query, Connect, and Replicate MicroSD Card Data

Database is the key to building IoT device applications that reliably manage data. When a device needs to store, analyze, and share data, cloud connectivity is an incomplete solution. Without a constant connection, devices cannot access the data required to be responsive and reliable. By storing real time data streams in an ITTIA DB SQL database, each device uses SQL queries to access any information it has collected. SQL empowers device software to filter, sort, aggregate and join data stored on local flash media.
