Advanced Time Series Data Computing on STM32 Microcontrollers
Come join our workshop, where you will learn how to effectively extend the capability of STM32 for advanced data computing with ITTIA DB.
Description
Are you building an IoT device application for which data sources such as sensors nodes must monitor, process, and manage a large volume of data quickly and efficiently, in real-time?
With this online workshop, you will rapidly learn how to build STM32 device applications to monitor, manage and secure real-time sensor data at the edge. Experience low latency, high throughput data processing and learn about the capacity of STM32 devices to take on major computing responsibilities for IoT data.
Prerequisites
- Access to internet and required equipment to attend the session online
- Familiarity with embedded and MCU device constraints
- You will receive an ITTIA DB evaluation license for the workshop
Agenda
Part 1: ITTIA DB out-of-the-box experience on STM32
- Introduction to ITTIA DB for STM32Cube
- Run examples that process live IoT sensor data in real-time
- Filter, aggregate, and downsample live data with data stream API
- Query data on flash media with time series database API
- Coordinate data access across multiple RTOS tasks
- Benchmark: ingestion rate, query latency, export throughput
Part 2: Customizing ITTIA DB for your applications
- Configure database hardware encryption to secure data
- Add ITTIA DB to a new or existing STM32Cube project
- Design a schema and queries for device streams and tables
- Database development with IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm
- Database development with Keil MDK-ARM
- Footprint, file systems, and platform integration
