The result: happier customers and a stronger market position for WinEstimator’s already dominant WinEst 7.0 project cost estimating software.
WinEstimator’s new ODBC-compatible driver, provided by ITTIA for WinEst 7.0, enable end-users to share data with a variety of third-party tools such as Microsoft® Access, Excel and Crystal Reports. This provides new and unprecedented opportunities for improved cost-data information exchange and database customization.
The option was made possible through a partnership with ITTIA, which offers Ittialogy data access technology solutions that enable access to data via the common ODBC application-programming interface (API).
Since its introduction last year, Ittialogy has played a vital role in providing greater openness and flexibility for solutions in finance, engineering, military, manufacturing, CRM and other industries. With Ittialogy data access, vendors and end-users can dramatically improve the benefits offered by their software solutions while avoiding the cost and disruption of replacing an existing database.
